Competition terms and conditions

Advent calendar 2025 – Vernasche die Welt and SnackPilot

These terms and conditions apply in addition to our General Terms and Conditions within the context of the “Advent Calendar 2025” competition.

  2. 2. Subject of the competition

    By purchasing an Advent calendar from the “Vernasche die Welt” or “SnackPilot” brand, you will automatically be entered into a competition to win a “Golden Ticket.” A “Golden Ticket” symbolizes a prize (physical or digital) appropriate to the product and must be exchanged for this prize later.

    Each Advent calendar purchased represents one chance to participate. Each Advent calendar may contain a maximum of one prize (“Golden Ticket”).

  3. 3. Participation period and eligibility

    The competition begins with the start of sales of the Advent calendar 2025. The opportunity to participate ends at the latest when sales are stopped or upon separate announcement, but no later than December 24, 2025. An extended deadline of January 31, 2026 applies for redeeming the “golden tickets,” unless specified earlier by separate announcement.

    All natural persons aged 18 and over who are resident in the areas of activity of the respective brands (European Economic Area) are eligible to participate. Employees of the organizer or companies from the same group or group of companies, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.

  4. 4. Notification and transfer of winnings

    The prize notification will take the form of a “golden ticket” located in the Advent calendar, while we reserve the right to make a further announcement. When you find such a ticket, you will know whether you have won.

    After finding a “Golden Ticket,” you must contact us (the organizer) independently to claim the prize associated with the win. Please have the ticket and proof of your order ready for this purpose:

    The “Golden Tickets” contained in the Advent calendar entitle the holder to receive a prize specified on the ticket. The exact prize is specified on the ticket. Cash payment of the prize or the prize itself, exchange, or transfer to other persons is excluded.

    The prizes will be sent after successful contact and verification. If contact is not made within the specified time (see 3.), the claim and the “Golden Ticket” will expire.

  5. 5. Privacy Policy

    In addition to our privacy policy, no additional personal data will be collected as part of the competition before you contact us as a winner.

    The additional personal data required for prize processing (in particular name, address, email) will be used, processed, and passed on (in particular, in the event of a win, to our shipping partners for the purpose of shipping the prize) exclusively for the purpose of conducting and processing the competition in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. After complete processing and consideration of interests, this data will be deleted. No further use, in particular for advertising purposes, will be made of this specific data.

  6. 6. Exclusion of legal recourse and liability

    Legal recourse is excluded, in particular but not exclusively regarding the selection of winners and the evaluation of the entries submitted.

    The organizer accepts no liability, in particular for technical problems that impair participation in the competition.

  7. 7. Proof of prize transfer

    After finding a “golden ticket,” contacting us, and receiving the prize, winners agree to provide us with proof of receipt of the prize in an appropriate form. The purpose of this proof is to ensure the integrity of the contest and its execution.

  8. 8. Other provisions

    The competition is not affiliated with Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms, even if advertised there. Erste Sonderbox GmbH reserves the right to change, interrupt, or terminate the competition at any time if there is an important reason to do so. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
